MY STORY
The World Food Championships is the largest competition in Food Sport, where grand champions of previous events convene for a chance at winning the ultimate food crown and a share of hundreds of thousands of dollars in prize money. The World Food Championships is also the springboard for many up and coming culinary stars and home cooks as they seek Brand affiliations or TV fame through many well-known food shows and acting opportunities.
Based in Dallas, Texas, WFC's 2021 event attracted more than 1,400 cooks from 42 states and 5 countries during its 9th annual tournament. Almost 20,000 foodies watched and enjoyed the heat of the battle unfold in 10 official categories, while the WFC action garnered more than 30 million impressions and a media reach of 1.2 billion.
Since its debut in 2012, WFC has awarded more than $2.5 million in prize money to food champions from 49 American states and 40+ countries. Almost 200 brands and 1,000 different teams have been featured in the tournament. The event has also been featured in numerous TV shows across many American and international media networks.
