MY STORY
Vivian Chan is native Brooklynnite who has a passion to feed, teach and engage people with food. After graduating from FCI, she worked as a line cook for a couple of restaurants but it wasn’t until she landed the coveted position for Anita Lo’s fine dining restaurant, Annisa, that she was able to learn how to elevate her cooking techniques and plating style. From there, Vivian decided to combine her love for food with her BA in Media Arts into the world of food media at the Food Network. Recipe developer, food stylist, culinary producer, are just a few of the many roles she held over the dozen years with the network. Besides being behind the camera, she was also the face of Food Network Kitchen for many years, she has been seen hosting and judging various shows - Freakshow Cakes, Viv’s Tips, Viv Tests the Trend, Chef’s List, Let’s Eat, Kitchen Sink, Monday Bites, Christmas Cookie Challenge, Beat Bobby Flay and Worst Cooks in America. She has also been featured on The Today Show. She brings a skillset of providing over 100+ live cooking classes through her experience on the Food Network Kitchen app. Recently, Vivian departed from her staff position at Food Network and venturing on her own to create yet another new path within the culinary space.
