MY STORY
Tae, born in South Korea and raised in Chicago, graduated from USC with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, balancing his engineering career while pursuing a passion for cooking. He became Co-Executive Head Chef and Culinary Director at G&G Hospitality, which operates multiple locations across LA, NYC, and Southampton. In 2022, Tae and his restaurant partner opened Dirty Taco in Grand Central Terminal, where they introduced TacOmakase—a tasting menu that reflects their travels and experiences, telling stories through tacos. Their collaboration embodies a shared passion for pushing culinary boundaries and crafting memorable dining experiences.
