Chef Sakari Smithwick spent his childhood between New York and North Carolina, where humble beginnings kick-started his career as a McDonald's grill cook. After receiving his BBA in Restaurant Management, Sakari brought his talents to Marea (2 Michelin Stars), Eleven Madison Park (3 Michelin Stars), and Ukiyo, where Sakari earned his first Michelin star alongside Chef Marco Prins. In 2019, he finished second on Food Network's Chopped, impressively making it to the final dessert round, and was recently named a recipient of CEO and Entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuck’s Sorcerer Scholarship. Sakari is now working to bring his vision alive with his multimedia NFT culinary concept, Noble Promise Studios.
