Rashad Jiles born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota now currently living in Houston, Texas. Growing up my dad was a chef. I did not have an interest in cooking in a restaurant but I had a huge interest in FOOD! I remember going to dinner as a child and my mom being upset because I would order things on the menu that I had never tried before and I would usually end up not liking it. I laugh when I think about those times. But with that being said, it taught me what I like and what I don’t like and at the same time opened up my palette to new things. 

I ran as far away from the kitchen as possible and became a flight attendant. And for 6 years I traveled the world exploring new places, cultures and of course new cuisines! 

Rashad Eats The World was born from this time in my life. I learned that we are so much more alike than we are different. We cook with a lot of the same ingredients however, we just have our own interpretation of them. Rashad Eats The World Bridges that cultural gap. My goal is to connect us all through food!
