Nathanael Gassett, better known as Wero, is a restaurant trained chef and self taught photographer. His passion for food sprung from traveling and learning new cuisines in people's homes. Beginning as a Culinary Instructor in Fort Worth Texas, he went on to begin the fine dining pop-up series Luciérnaga before working as chef de cuisine at BCP, and currently works as sous and executive pastry chef at La Onda. Wero has been a featured chef for events at the Kimball Art Museum, Tastemakers, Blackhouse, as well as local community events. Hosting the limited web series Dining with Wero and also making television appearances on NBC’s Texas Today and Telemundo's Acceso Total, Wero is not afraid to show his passion for food in front of the camera. His photographs have been published nationally and internationally with publications including Rolling Stone and People magazine and has also been featured as a contributing food writer and photographer for Visit Fort Worth.
