Bake It With MelMel Asseraf

This is the story of Chef Mel. She fell in love with baking at a young age. Chef Mel was mesmerized by the beauty, intricacies, and overwhelming flavors that creates that perfect dessert. That nostalgic moment you know you will remember of pure joy. Having graduated from College with a prestigious pastry diploma, it was time to make this baking dream to reality. She embarked on a journey beginning in Paris with some of the best pastry chefs in the world. It felt natural to her to start there having been born in Paris herself. The training was eye opening and couldn’t believe she hadn’t been doing this her whole life.

Pierre Herme and Francois Payard were instrument in Chef Mel’s baking education. Not long after Chef Mel would open her very own pastry shop in Paris called “Les Sucreries de Melodie”.
