MY STORY
Born in Acapulco, Mexico and transplanted to Atlanta at three years old. Grew up amongst in the industry with both my parents working in family owned restaurants. Naturally with both parents working a lot of time was spent in restaurants which later translated to helping out in all facets. After high school there was no intention of going to a traditional 4 year collage so working in restaurants was an easy move. a few years later I made the decision to enroll in culinary school and see where that would take me. Initially my goal as a young cook was to gain a much experience and knowledge as possible so the first opportunity I had to go cook abroad I immediately took. Upon returning to Atlanta I started working around town with some of the best Chefs in various cuisines and styles. Eventually the opportunity to take over the kitchen at Aziza arouse with the challenge of a new cuisine. The adaptation at Aziza has been very challenging at times amidst the pandemic but also were rewarding and with a very strong team hopeful to keep pushing in the future.
