“Confit Pétals de Rose”
Candied fresh *rose petals.
*roses must be untreated/organic
Ingredients
1 ounce Fresh Rose Petals
1 cups Sugar
1 tbsps Egg Whites, mix with a tsp of water
Preparation
Mix egg white and water to create egg wash. Take each rose petal and lightly brush both sides with the wash. Set petals onto bed of superfine cane sugar and generously coat the top. Place candied petal on wire wrack and let sit out to dry. You can speed up process by using dehydrator on low setting for 8-12 hours.
