For over ten years, Jonathan has been cooking up a reputation as an innovative culinary artist. His journey as a chef has taken him across the United States and beyond, traveling whilst working for renowned hospitality leaders such as the Hilton Hotel Group and the Walt Disney Company. Jonathan now finds himself leading his team on a new adventure into the edible as part of the prestigious Omni Hotel Group. As Executive Chef, Jonathan not only uses his experience to command the kitchen and ensure quality always remains at its highest, but he also continues to inspire his team and guests with his unique culinary creations.

Jonathan's love of cooking owes a huge thank you to his mother. From Jonathan's early years in Aguascalientes, Mexico, he was fascinated with the sights and sounds of the kitchen. Jonathan's youthful passion became a permanent one, and after earning his bachelor's degree, he set out to travel, taste, and eventually, invent the most delicious dishes he could. Today, his recipes can be seen in cookbooks, online food blogs, and some of the nation's finest restaurants. 

In his position as Executive Chef at Rancho Las Palmas Resort and Spa, it's easy to see that Jonathan's hard work under the apron has paid off. Though whether he was running his own catering company or delighting guests at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, Jonathan has always strived for perfection on the plate.
