MY STORY
Diego Ng is the chef and co-owner of Temple Street Eatery and one half of the Two Happy Buddha Hospitality group located in South Florida. He was born in Venezuela of Chinese descent. He has many years of experience in the Hospitality industry. Starting with his degree in Hospitality Management from FIU's Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
He has worked in many of South Florida's fine establishments such as the prestigious Boca Raton & Resort and Fontainebleau Hotel.
His culinary knowledge stems from his background as well as his travels. His restaurant focuses on Asian American Comfort Food with a twist of what he calls Chino Latino for his cultural background. He is also currently doing Pop Ups under Houmei Chino Latino where he is featuring his Chino Cubano FRITA DUMPLINGS filled with homemade chorizo and topped with the Two Happy Buddha's Chino Latino Chili Crisp!
Diego continues to contribute his time as a guest lecturer at the Chaplin School when he is not cooking at his restaurant.
