In 2020, the restaurant community had to adapt and evolve in major ways. In order to reimagine how this space could survive and flourish, a new community of forward-thinkers had to be formed. Enter CHFTY. CHFTY will position itself as an ecosystem to help chefs, foodies, and brands integrate into Web3… and CHFTY Pass holders get premier access to it all!

CHFTY Mission: CHFTY is committed to building the largest community of chefs and foodies in Web3. CHFTY will guide and educate chefs on the benefits of this new technology, and place them in the best position to leverage the Blockchain for their existing brand. By connecting our All Star lineup of chefs directly to this foodie community, we position ourselves to create exciting new digital products. CHFTY aims to play a legitimate role in a new wave of philanthropy, specifically by utilizing DAOs to decentralize the process of fundraising and donating to charitable organizations

Spike Mendelsohn: Spike has several restaurant concepts in the Washington DC area including PLNT Burger, Vim & Victor and We, The Pizza. Leveraging his close proximity to our nation’s capital, Spike combined his passion for food equity and education by working with organizations like CARE, DC Central Kitchen and Food Rescue US. He also serves as the chairman of DC’s Food Policy Council.

Tom Colicchio: Tom Colicchio is the chef and owner of Crafted Hospitality, which currently includes New York’s Craft, Temple Court and Vallata; Long Island's Small Batch Los Angeles’ Craft Los Angeles; and Las Vegas’ Heritage Steak and Craftsteak. An 8-time James Beard Award winner, he is the Head Judge and Executive Producer of Bravo’s Top Chef, host of the Citizen Chef Podcast on iHeartRadio and founding member of the Independent Restaurant Coalition.
