Annie’s love for cooking started as a child in Kansas. She comes from generations of amazing cooks, but didn’t realize it was going to be her profession until later in life. Out of the kitchen, you’ll see her dining at her friend’s restaurants, rowing at Orange Theory Fitness, or browsing the local faire at the PSU Farmer’s Market. She’s a sucker for a slice of cheese pizza with ranch, different brands of soda water, and putting flower petals on everything.

Annie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Food Service from Oregon State University and had to take culinary school classes for her degree. Once she was cooking on a professional level, she was hooked. She finished culinary school at Linn Benton and moved to Portland. She spent time working for Olympia Provisions before becoming the Sous Chef at Cathy Whim’s Oven and Shaker. In her quest to keep learning, Annie moved to NYC in 2018 and worked in restaurants before moving into the private chef world. Being able to blend her nutrition background with her passion for cooking, this was her true calling.
