MY STORY
Hi friends, thanks for stopping by! I’m Andreya, lover of all things food, wine, and throwing a killer dinner party. Food has always been my love language and if I was a food, I would most definitely be a potato dumpling draped in butter.
After being a gypsy for about 20 years and living, learning, and cooking in Lake Tahoe, Belgium, the Pacific NW, Guadeloupe, and the Napa Valley, my hubbs and I moved back to Lake Tahoe where we spend a lot of time adventuring in the outdoors with our pups.
I am a graduate of Western Washington University and The CIA and have cooked in too many kitchens to count, from greasy spoon diners to Michelin starred restaurants and I’ve learned so much in each of them. In 2018, I started Mortar Pestle Cooking as a personal chef and catering service and am now excited to share what I know with you through this super rad online platform.
