MY STORY
Chef Alycia Nicole spent 15 years in the Chemical Industry working her way up the corporate ladder as an engineer and people leader, managing manufacturing teams. In her spare time for the past 10 years she began enjoying spending time cooking, and sharing her food with friends and family. In 2015 on a whim, Alycia sent a video to The Rachael Ray Show to win tuition to culinary school. Though she did not come out on top, she finished in the top 3, out of several hundreds and got a taste of the culinary industry. This event lit the spark that finally pushed Alycia toward the discovery of her passion to begin the transition to the culinary industry as a private chef and catering business owner of Foodie Engineer LLC. In 2018 Alycia began her studies at The Institute of Culinary Education, and completed her internship with the Danny Meyer led, Union Square Events. This business is one of several under the umbrella of Union Square Hospitality Group. Chef Alycia Nicole enjoys sharing her Antiguan heritage and cannot wait to share her food with you.
