As a born and bred New Yorker, Alexa developed a passion for both classic restaurants and home cooking at a young age. She developed a love of fishing and farming while spending time on Long Island and learned the value of charming and warm hospitality by immersing herself in an environment of charismatic characters. At The College of Charleston, Alexa furthered her knowledge of the industry by studying front and back of house positions at NoHo Hospitality Group and Civetta Hospitality Group.

Currently, Alexa works with large-scale culinary events such as, The New York City Wine and Food Festival and The South Beach Wine and Food Festival. She strategizes, develops, and executes multiple immersive experiences. Currently, Alexa is working on her Masters Degree in Food Studies from New York University and is focusing on media and culture.

When not in New York City, you can find Alexa in Shinnecock Bay clamming at low-tide, paddle boarding with her dog Biggie Smalls, or canvasing farm stands and farmers markets for fresh produce.
