Thomas and Mariah Pisha-Duffly have drawn inspiration from their travels in Southeast Asia to create their Portland restaurants Gado Gado and Oma's Hideaway. With the iconic and colorful Indonesian salad as their namesake, Gado Gado celebrates Thomas’ Indo-Chinese heritage and the husband-and-wife team’s mixed and diverse culinary backgrounds. Oma's Hideaway is an homage to Tom's Grandmother, and the playful menu focuses on charcoal roasted meats, hawker inspired noodles, and fresh vibrant salads.
