MY STORY

I come from a family of bakers, chefs, nutritionists and scientists. To say food was a much-discussed topic around the dinner table would be an understatement. I have early memories of my father recollecting his years spent as a chef de partie. My summers were spent assisting my grandmother in making the most intricate of wedding cakes.

After high school, I apprenticed as a pastry chef specializing in designer wedding cakes, cookies, and not-so-traditional pastries. I went on to purse a degree in product design/engineering and since then, I have moved into the corporate world where I design vehicles and act as a special type of researcher evaluating change in the world and how change happens through time.

My specialty is understanding the history and evolution of delicious decadents and combining my knowledge of science and skill for baking into one. During the pandemic, I started teaching cooking classes to my friends and family over zoom and fell in love with teaching. I believe anyone can bake and I am here to help!
