Ingredients
Makes 4 S’mores
Candied bacon:
8 strips bacon
¼ brown sugar
¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper
S’mores:
4 graham crackers
4 bacon strips
4 marshmallows
4 large pieces dark chocolate (about 2 ounces each)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325 °F. Lay bacon on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle black pepper and brown sugar on front and back of bacon, rubbing evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Flip strips over halfway through baking for even cooking. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.

Lay out graham crackers on a plate and break each graham in half. Place 2 slices candied bacon and a piece of chocolate on one half of each graham cracker. Turn on stovetop heat to medium. Apply one marshmallow to a skewer. Place the marshmallow close to, but not touching, the flame, and roast until it is brown and bubbly on all sides. Place the marshmallow onto the chocolate and top with the other graham cracker half. Repeat with remaining marshmallows.
