Sauté one sliced onion, 3 peppers, four cloves of garlic and one sliced shallot until veggies are tender.
Add:
1 ounce oyster sauce
1 ounce sesame oil
1 ounce low sodium soy sauce
12 ounce apricot jelly
Season with salt, pepper and crushed red chili’s
You can make this part of the dish and your rice in the afternoon or right before dinner.
In a separate pan, sear your Chinese sausage and cook your steak. Then slice the Chinese sausage and the steak and add to the pepper and onion mixture and serve over rice.
