Pepper Steak
Ingredients
4 ounces vegetable oil
2 16 ounce New York Strips
1 sliced shallot
4 closed chopped garlic
1 sliced white onion
1 sliced green pepper
1 sliced red pepper
2 ounce soy sauce
1 ounce sesame oil
1 ounce oyster sauce
The juice of one lemon
4 ounces orange marmalade
Sea salt and cracked black pepper to taste
Preparation
Heat vegetable oil in a sauce pan
Add garlic, onions, shallots and peppers to the oil.
Sauté until the vegetables tender and golden brown
Remove veggies from the pan
Slice the steaks into 1/8 inch slices
Heat pan with oil and sear the steak slices until golden brown.
Note *do not overload the pan
Add the vegetables and cooked steak in the pan.
Add, soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, lemon juice, marmalade, and S&p
Serve over rice
