Sunflower Seed Pate
No one will miss the tuna of the sea with this Sunflower Seed Pate!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sunflower seeds, soaked overnight
1 cup grated carrots
1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
3 tablespoons tahini
3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 inch fresh ginger root, grated
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until you achieve a ‘tuna’ like texture.
Serve on salads, in sandwiches and wraps, on crackers, with avocado, stuffed in tomatoes. This Sunflower Seed Pate has endless uses.
