Holiday Green Goddess Smoothie
This Holiday Green Goddess Smoothie can be enjoyed year round but she definitely is appreciated during the holiday season when too many sweet treats have been enjoyed.
Protein rich and nutrient dense, great for breakfast, midday snack and great after a workout.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups plant based milk of choice, coconut, almond, oat or coconut water
1/2 cup of fresh squeezed orange juice, optional, if not added use 2 cups of plant based milk or coconut water
2 cups of packed spinach
1 1/2 cups of frozen fruit; strawberries, bananas, mangos, berries (choose your favorite
2 dates, pitted and soaked in water for 20 minutes if you’d like more sweetness
1 tablespoon of hemp, chia, or flax seeds, or a blend
Scoop of your favorite plant based protein powder
15 drops of liquid chlorophyll
Preparation
Add the liquid in your blender vessel first and then add all other ingredients.
Blend until smooth and serve.
Store in a glass container and refrigerate.
