Velvety Asparagus Soup
This Velvety Asparagus Soup hits the spot every time!
Prepared as a raw ‘live’ vegan soup but you can definitely heat it up, if you wish.

3 cups chopped asparagus
2 cups filtered water
3 ribs celery, chopped
1/2 cup soaked walnuts
1/2 avocado
1/2 tablespoon Nutritional Yeast
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh black pepper
Preparation
Soak the walnuts for two hours. Drain and rinse.
Place 2 cups of the chopped asparagus in a large bowl.
Combine the remaining ingredients in a blender and blend thoroughly. Pour the puree over the asparagus and serve.
