Pretty Healthy Black Sesame and Honey Cookies

Start your new year off right with a delicious cookie that will stick to your “eat healthier” resolution while still satisfying your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

1 12 cups Almond Meal

1/2 cups Black Sesame Paste

1/2 cups Honey

1/2 tsps Baking Soda

1 pinch Salt

1 cups Black Sesame Seeds

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350 for conventional or 325 for convection ovens.

Combine all your ingredients except for the whole black sesame seeds in a mixing bowl. Mix until combined and a thick, sticky but workable dough has formed. Add more paste or almond meal if necessary. Form your dough into medium sized balls and drop into the whole sesame seeds. toss to coat each ball.

Place each ball onto a prepared cookie sheet. Gently press down to flatten.

Bake for 6-8 minutes (depending on how crispy you would like them) until the edges have just started to set and brown.

Let cool and enjoy!
