TATER TOTS 🤝 NACHOS

Why choose between crispy tater tots and nachos when you can have both!? This recipe combines the best of both worlds leveraging frozen tater tots, melty gooey cheese, old-world pepperoni, a quick pico de Gallo, pickled jalapenos, and sour cream making it the perfect crave-worthy combo.

Ingredients

Ingredients

Favorite frozen Tater Tots

Salt

Tajin or seasoning of choice

Cheddar Cheese

Monterey Jack Cheese

Pepperonis, bacon, or chopped salami

Pickled jalapenos 

Pico de gallo or your favorite salsa

Doritos cool ranch jalapeno dip or sour cream

Preparation

1. Cook tater tots according to package directions. Preheat broiler. Add tater tots to a bowl and season with salt and tajin or seasoning of choice. Toss to coat.

2. Add seasoned tots to an oven-safe cooking sheet. Top with cheeses to your heart's content. Add pepperonis. Broil on high until the cheese is melted and the pepperonis start to crisp.

3. Top with pickled jalapenos, pico de gallo, or salsa, and queso or sour cream.

Devour!

Spicy Grapefruit Paloma

Spicy Grapefruit Paloma

This is a spicy twist on the classic grapefruit Paloma. An easy jalapeno simple syrup gets combined with freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, tequila blanco, lime juice, and sparkling water for a delicious cocktail.

Ingredients

Jalapeno Simple Syrup

½ c water

½ c sugar

1 jalapeño, sliced


For the Spicy Grapefruit Paloma

2oz Tequila

2oz Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice

2oz Sparkling water

1/2oz lime juice

1/2oz jalapeno simple syrup

Tajin for the rim of the glasses

Ice


Preparation

For the Jalapeño Simple Syrup

1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add water and sugar. Bring to a boil. Add jalapenos. Turn the heat down to low. Allow the syrup to simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Pour mixture into a heatproof container and allow to cool.

For the Spicy Grapefruit Paloma

1. Season the rim of the glass by rubbing the leftover rind of the grapefruit around the edge and dip it into a small plate of Tajin.

2. Mix the tequila, grapefruit juice, jalapeno simple syrup, and lime juice into the seasoned glass add ice, and top with sparkling water. Stir to combine. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
