Rum Punch

This rum punch is super easy to throw together for a single cocktail or batch it and store it in the freezer for anytime you want a quick cocktail!

Ingredients

1oz light rum

1.5oz dark rum

2.5oz pineapple juice

2oz orange juice

juice of 1/2 lime

.5oz- 1oz grenadine*


Optional Garnishes:

Pineapple wedge

Pineapple leaf

Orange slice

Quality maraschino cherries


*Not all grenadines are created equal. I made my own by simmering 8oz pomegranate juice with 1c of sugar until the sugar dissolves. Add in a fresh squeeze of lemon juice and store in the fridge for up to 1 month. If using store bought I’d start with the .5OZ, taste and go from there.

Preparation

  1. 1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add liquid ingredients to the shaker and shake vigorously.


  1. 2. Fill the serving glass with ice and pour the cocktail over the ice. Garnish with a pineapple wedge, pineapple leaf, orange slice, and a cherry.
