Crispy Baked Chicken Wings
These crispy baked chicken wings are super easy to throw together and the perfect thing to serve for the big game with minimal effort!
Ingredients
1.5-2lbs of Chicken Wings- drums, and flats
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp of salt
1/ 2tsp fresh cracked pepper
½ tsp granulated garlic
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
Favorite sauces for serving!
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and top with a roasting rack. Rub a little veggie oil over the rack to keep the wings from sticking.
2. Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel. This will ensure crispy wings! Add the wings to a large bowl. Add seasonings and baking powder. Toss to combine. Drizzle vegetable oil and toss until well coated.
3. Place the wings on top of the roasting/cooling rack and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the wings from the oven and flip the wings to the other side. Place back into the oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes until crispy. Remove the wings from the oven or broil for 1 minute if desired for extra crispiness!
4. Serve the wings with your favorite sauces. I HIGHLY suggest implementing a BYOS (Bring Your Own Sauce) for watching the game. It’ll keep you from having to buy a bunch of sauces and everyone can bring their favorite! Everyone wins no matter who is playing and it’s a GREAT conversation piece.
