Chorizo Queso
This nostalgic stadium-like chorizo queso comes together in no time and is the perfect thing to munch on during the game!
Ingredients
8oz ground chorizo
8oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
⅓ c shredded pepper jack cheese
¾ c of Herdez mediumm salsa
Pico de gallo (optional)
Pickled jalapenos (optional)
Preparation
1. In a medium cast iron skillet over medium heat, brown the chorizo until brown and crispy. Remove the chorizo from the pan and drain the chorizo fat.
2. Add Velveeta and salsa to the same skillet. Cook until melted about 5 minutes.
3. Add chorizo and shredded cheese to the skillet. Top with pico de gallo or pickled jalapenos for garnish. Serve with tortilla chips and your favorite nacho toppings for an easy nacho bar!
