Pepper Relish
This pepper relish is THE perfect condiment for your brats, sausages, kielbasa, hot dogs, burgers, etc. Tangy, sweet, slightly spicy and so delicious!
Ingredients
3 Hungarian peppers, seeds removed and roughly chopped
2-3 jalapenos roughly chopped
1 red bell pepper, seeds removed and roughly chopped
1/2 yellow onion, roughly chopped
1/2c apple cider vinegar
1/4c sugar
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
Preparation
1. In the bowl of a food processor add the onion and peppers. Blend until chopped fine.
2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the blended onion and pepper mixture, vinegar, salt, and sugar. Stir to combine.
3. Allow the mixture to simmer and reduce until nice and thick for 30 minutes.
4. Store the mixture in an air-tight jar for up to 3 weeks in the fridge. serve on brats, hot dogs, sausages, burgers, etc.!
