MY STORY
Kieron Hales, the owner and chef behind Cornman Farms, an event venue and kitchen that is part of the legendary Zingerman's Delicatessen businesses in Ann Arbor, MI. For background, Kieron Hales grew up in England and has been working in Michelin star restaurants since the age of 13. Having lived and worked in 27 countries, Kieron has cooked at the likes of three Michelin star Paul Bocuse in France and Dal Pescatore in Italy, as well as having cooked for the British Royal family and three sitting presidents. In 2008, Kieron emigrated to the U.S. and joined Zingerman’s Roadhouse where he served as executive chef for a number of years before opening Zingerman’s Cornman Farms where he now serves as chef and partner of both the farmhouse and events. Kieron takes great pride in curating his beloved garden, which is inspired by Ballymaloe in Ireland, to create seasonal menus at the farmhouse while incorporating inspiration from his mom’s handwritten recipes and knowledge from his years working in world renowned kitchens.
