EASY BRUSSEL SPROUTS: TANGY, GARLICKY YUM
Brussel sprouts aren’t that common back home but it is super easy to make this at home! Short ingredients list + oven cooking into easy sides for a yummy meal!
Ingredients
1 pounds Brussel Sprouts, Washed & cut in halves
1 tbsps AF Chili Chunka Sambal
1 tbsps Honey, Substitute with agave or maple syrup to vegans
1/2 tsps Salt
3 tbsps Oregon Hazelnuts, Roasted and halved
3 tbsps Olive Oil, Ok to substitute with neutral vegetable oil
Preparation
1 - Heat oven to 380F
2 - In a medium size baking pan, mix the AF Chili Chunka Sambal, honey, salt, oil and toss the brussel sprouts till evenly coated.
3 - Slide the baking pan into the hot oven. It takes about 25 min. Test the brussel sprouts with a fork. It should be soft but not mushy. If you want the brussel sprouts to crispier, slide the pan under the broil on high for a few minutes.
4 - Plate up and sprinkle the hazelnuts on just before serving. Enjoy!
