Coconut Berry Smoothie

Coconut Berry Smoothie

I always try to use frozen bananas in my smoothies as they have a much creamier consistency when blended whereas fresh bananas just make a thinner smoothie.

They also make your smoothies thicker so you can create an almost milkshake-like smoothie with no ice cream involved.

Ingredients

1 c coconut milk

1/4 c oat milk

3-4 dates, no seeds

5 strawberries (fresh or frozen)

10 raspberries (fresh or frozen)

1/4 c rolled oats

Preparation

Put all the ingredients into a high-speed blender and blitz until smooth. Drink immediately or keep in the fridge for up to 12 hours. You will need to give it a little shake or mix it before drinking.

Side note: Fold in 1 tablespoon of chia seeds and let sit for 30 mins to 1 hour for an upgraded treat.
