Next level Gravy
No holiday feast would be complete without a savory, luxurious gravy on the table. My version has just as much flavor as classic brown gravy but is made with simple delicious plant-based ingredients. Try this satisfying recipe for Thanksgiving and I know you will fall in love.
Ingredients
4 tbsps vegan butter
1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups vegetable broth
1 tbsps liquid aminos
1 tbsps liquid smoke
1 tbsps Worcestershire sauce sauce
1 tsps flavor maker
1 cups sausage , chopped
1/4 cups oat milk
1 tsps garlic powder
Preparation
1. In a small saucepan on low heat, melt vegan butter. Add flour and whisk until fully combined. It should look like wet sand.
2. Slowly pour the vegetable broth into the saucepan as you whisk the gravy. Add milk and continue to whisk.
3. Add liquid aminos, Worcestershire sauce, and flavor-maker seasoning. Whisk consistently until gravy has thickened (about 6-10 minutes). Longer time for thicker gravy.
