Yummy Oatmeal cookie

Are you ready for the most delicious oatmeal cookies you ever ate?

Think moist, oowee, tasty and so good lol.

Tip: Don’t use quick oats here or the texture won’t come out the same. Plus they absorb differently so cookies may end up dry.

Ingredients

1 12 cups packed light brown sugar

1 cups unsalted butter , 2 sticks, softened

3 tsps vanilla extract

3 tbsps flax seeds, blended with 9 tbsp of cold water

1 12 cups AP flour

1/2 tsps salt

1/2 tsps baking soda

1 12 cups old-fashioned oats

1 tsps sweet finish

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 350.

2. In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat together the brown sugar and butter until fluffy. Beat in the vanilla. Add the flax seed mixture.

3. Mix together the flour, salt, sweet finish, and baking soda in another bowl. Add it into the creamed mixture in thirds, mixing until just combined. Do not over-mix.

4. Stir in the oats until just combined. Roll the dough into a log shape and wrap it in plastic wrap or wax paper. Chill in the freezer until the dough is firm and does not bend. Slice cookies and place them onto baking sheets, spacing them 2-3 inches apart. Bake until golden delicious and chewy, 10 to 14 minutes, depending on how thick you cut your cookies. If you'd like a crispier cookie, just cook it a little longer!

Let the cookies cool slightly on the baking sheets, then transfer them.
