LEMON GARLIC BUTTER ASPARAGUS
Asparagus is a vegetable that belongs to the lily family, along with onions, garlic, and leeks. 1 pound asparagus, rinsed, dried, and trimmed
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp shallots, minced
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Shaved or shredded parmesan cheese (optional)
Lemon wedges, for serving
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, stirring occasionally.
