Easy Taco Casserole
Y’all will love this very easy, simple and satisfying casserole!
Using a lot of peppery, fresh radish on top, along with other yummy toppings like avocado and sour cream.
Whip it up in less than 20 minutes
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 white onion, diced
1 packet taco seasoning (spicy)
2 tbsp water
1 8oz bag of shredded cheese (Mexican blend)
Avocado-sliced
Radish-sliced or mandolin into thin discs
Sour cream
hot peppers for garnish
bag tortilla chips of your choice
Preparation
Heat oven to 375
Using a large skillet, turn to med, and add butter or oil. Add almost all of your diced onion (saving some of it for topping) to pan and cook for 3 minutes or until soft, then add ground beef and break up with spatula. Continue to cook, and add taco seasoning with 2 tbsp water, mix well and cook until cooked through.
Transfer meat mixture to lightly greased casserole dish and spread evenly across bottom. Add cheese on top. Then bake in oven for 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Now top with all your toppings, sliced avocado, plenty of radish, peppers, sour cream and crushed tortilla chips on top.
Serve hot!
