Crumbled Egg Sandwich
This is delicious and soooo easy. Don’t be fooled by how simple this is, it is so satisfying and tasty. Fresh eggs, lots of butter and a garlicky toasted baguette, try it out!
5-6 hard boiled eggs
1 french baguette
Salted butter-room temp
1 clove garlic
fresh cracked pepper
pub cheese (optional)
Boil eggs ahead of time and let cool. For this recipe, I did a 10 minute boil, watch demo for tips
Turn broiler onto high
Cut baguette in half, or however many sandwiches you would like to make. Butter generously and place under broiler to toast.
Peel your boiled eggs and roughly chop them, then use your hands to crumble them a little bit.
Once baguette is well toasted, pull from broiler and immediately rub generously with garlic clove
(if you would like to add a spreadable cheese this would be when you do it)
Then add more butter to bread. Now add crumbled eggs onto one side of bread, and lightly press them into bread.
Season with salt and fresh pepper
