B&B Episode 54 Cajun Bites

These quick and easy appetizers have a wonderful honey bourbon dressing sure to please a crowd.

Ingredients

1/2 pkg puff pastry, thawed

8 Andouille Sausage

1/2 C. Creole mustard

2 tsp brown sugar bourbon

1 tbsp honey

1 large egg, whisked

Cajun or everything bagel seasoning

Preparation

Sprinkle some four on a board. Unfold pastry onto floured surface. Lightly flour top. Cut pastry crosswise int0 16 large strips with a large knife or pizza wheel.

Spiral strips around sausage, until it is covered. Chill for one hour

Meanwhile, combine mustard, bourbon and honey in a bowl.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brush with egg wash. Sprinkle with seasoning.

Bake until puffed and golden brown for about 20 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and then slice into 1 -inch pieces with a serrated knife. Serve with mustard
