MY STORY
Chef Alvin Cailan's career spans a multitude of successes. He has risen to become arguably the most high-profile chefs in America's Filipino food movement. He began his career learning his craft in the kitchens of Michelin starred chefs Matt Lightner and David Lefebre. He went on to garner national acclaim by creating Eggslut which has successfully expanded to national and international locations. Alvin went on to become the host of the The Burger Show on First We Feast and in the beginning of 2020, he opened Amboy Quality Meats & Delicious Burgers, the in-demand Los Angeles burger shop that quickly amassed a loyal customer following. His success in the burger world resulted in a deal with Umami burger for whom Alvin has created a new menu and look for the brand as it seeks to expand through in US and internationally.
